What the mid-term election means for schools

Kansas election results for the down ballot races of State Board of Education resulted in what most of us believed would happen--the Republican candidates took the day. And why not? No Democrat filed to run in three open races for the board.

This situation is the real threat to Democracy. Hopefully future races will find competition from candidates of both major parties.
